Suppose I can’t get my doctoral diploma until after August 31st of the year I am applying for the fellowship?
Obtain and mail a letter from the registrar's office that states the date on which you completed all of the requirements for the doctoral degree.
Is it necessary to have obtained my doctoral degree in an APA-accredited program?
Yes. It is a requirement.
Is it necessary to have completed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship?
Yes. It is a requirement.
If my doctoral degree is in Education with an emphasis in Counseling Psychology, am I eligible for the postdoctoral fellowship in Psychology.
No. Your doctoral degree must be in Educational Psychology. (If other than Counseling or Clinical Psychology.)
How fluent in a foreign language do I have to be to list it on the application?
If you can conduct professional services in a foreign language (i.e., intakes, psychotherapy, etc.), you should include it on the application.
